Internal recording in cubase

Hi
How can i record internally in cubase (for instance from mp3 or youtube etc).
I have UR22 , mac os and somehow cannot record sound in cubase
There is no problem to record sound externally (mic)
Please help

You need a soundcard that can route the windows sounds back into an input of itself, so you can use it in Cubase.

Unfortunately I don´t know, since I don´t use the UR 22.

UR22 MkII has the loopback function.

If you have the earlier version then you’ll need to use a physical connection or software such as Virtual Audio Cable
