iPad air m2 with apple pencil pro bug?

Whenever I try and move midi notes around in the piano roll with the apple pencil, the notes glitch out and move around on their own.

Everything is fully updated

Any ideas?

Turn off hover mode in the pencil settings… it’s a work around, spirally they’ll work through the bugs quickly. Must be so frustrating to those using Cubasis professionally

Sometimes.. I’ve been a user for about a year and seen 3 0.0.1 updates

Hey,

I’ve just updated to 3.8.2 and the Apple Pencil support is better but the problem of dragging midi notes around In the piano roll is still there. When a note in the piano roll is selected and dragged, the note glitches out and moves up and down rapidly.

apparently they need a fix from their framework before they can fix pen and mouse issues :frowning:

Out of curiosity, did you already update Your iPad to iPadOS26.2?

I ask this because I can’t replicate the note moving glitches on my 11” M1 iPadPro, iPadOS26.2 and the Apple Pencil.

This is what happens on my iPad Air 4 running OS26.2 with Cubasis 3 v3.8.2, I am using a third party ePen-

the Pencil Jitter issue should be fixed with the next update.

Hi Lars, I have a similar issue with the pencil (when hover option is on). I cannot drag the R or left triangle for loop or trimming, it goes back to the initial position. Same for midi key on the grid.

Hopefully next update will allow hover on.
