Any chance we’re going to see a Cubasis build that will run on Apple Silicon on the Mac? I’d love the ability to do some of my work on a bigger screen and mouse and keyboard.

You can do all that on the iPad. I’ve connected a keyboard, mouse and monitor to my iPad. Works great!

Also, Cubasis CAN run on Mac m1 + processors
Steinberg has purposely DISABLED the ability to run it on Mac (the way it used to) because no one would buy Cubase if they did lol!!!
But I think the opposite is the smarter move: cubase is for super knowledgeable technical producers and Cubasis is much more limited and simpler so I don’t see them as competitive to each other
It’s too bad; Cubasis on my Mac would be better than Logic on my iPad !!!
They really SHOULD reconsider this now that 3.7 made it the best daw on the platform
But you can also run it with iOS 18 and sequoia with IPhone MIRRORING - you can run Cubasis from your pc, mouse , keyboard and monitor
It’s not that simple. Yeah, Cubasis itself could probably run on macOS as is. But Cubasis can only host AUv3 plugins built for iPadOS so it would be pretty much useless on macOS.

Cubasis is designed for mobile devices. As of yet, it is not planned to release the app on Mac Silicon.
