IR import in REVerence

How can I load my own impulse response files into REVerence?

You can’t.

So, Halion 6 has a convolution reverb without the ability to load impulse responses?

I can load IR´s in Cubase with REVerence but not in Halion?

Sorry, this is ridiculous.
Another reason not to leave Kontakt for instrument development.

Well, it’s not my fault.

bump,

this needs to happen for instrument development, not just for reverb but so developers can capture analog equipment curves and embed them into the instrument.

there should be ways for developers to impart their own tone, saturation, distortion, etc and not be limited to Steinberg factory stuff. If we could get something pretty advanced like some sort of cascading convolution capture akin to however Acoustica do their thing.

If a base library of circuit emulation “blocks” users can put together.

It would allow people to make some really saucy synths and libraries, more tonal diversity from developer to developer.

I’m with Maggot. I always thought it was weird that we couldn’t import IR for the Reverb. The ones that are included are strange for sound design with their default settings. Super BOOMY and over the top.

I would be SWEETNESS if we could load reverb responses captured from actual hardware synths. Like the reverb from a Rev2. Or a reverb from whatever.
