If you are using the on screen keyboard, tapping the keys at various points on each key produces a different velocity, dragging the keyboard up gives you more control over your playing position. There may be other uses who have found a way to set velocities, I would also be interested to find outđź‘Ť
I have only been able to set velocity values on external keyboards connected to Cubasis3.

What I was really after is the ability to enter a probability amount, say 50%, whereby the app would use random number techniques to decide for itself whether the note would play.
This is available in Roland Zenbeats, but unfortunately there are too many other failings with this app to make it viable.
It looks as if I am going to have to stick with Drambo for the moment…
