Is it possible to automate Pitch for an audio file in the automation lane?

I know this is available to do if I put the audio file into the sample editor and go on to automate the midi of the sample. However I need to perform a number of edits on an audio file and I can’t sample it to midi without compromising some other edits.

I’m not seeing “pitch” as an automation lane so I’m wondering if there is any way to perform this on the audio track besides a plugin. Thanks so much!

I think there isn’t. I do this by going to processes, selecting “pitch shift”, and then “envelope”. From there I tweak the range, and pitch curve according to my needs.

It’s at least another work around. Though it would be nice as an automation lane, this helps for sure.
