You are right, Jesper!!.
Liquids are also important: I just opened a 2022 Spätburgunder from Baden-Kaisertuhl.
Prosit!
I have no idea what that is but it sounds good.

Christian,
BRAVO! This now looks correct. I can’t thank you enough for your thoughtful and hard work on this matter. Now, I’m a bit unfamiliar with
implamenting a pickup bar. I have to use your method in a few more spots and want to get it correct. Is there a chance you could make a short video or
I’m happy to pay you for your time with an online screenshare session?
When you input a time signature with the popover, you can append a comma and the number of beats you want as a pickup. So when @Christian_R inputs 2/2,1.5
into the popover, that’s a 2/2 meter with 1.5 beats as a pickup – where a beat in this case is a half note according to the time sig, so that’s 6 eighths. A 4/4 bar with a quarter pickup would be 4/4,1
.
Here’s the manual section on the Time Signature popover; you can scroll down a little to the Pick-up Bars section.
(I hope you don’t mind that I answered instead of Christian, but I thought he might still be enjoying his Spätburgunder!)
Here you come, @Dilorenzo (even while enjoying my Spätburgunder @asherber ahah ):
Video tutorial (10:00 minutes)
(I made the steps once a time for clarity. Some steps can be made differently-for example enter [3]/4 for the automatic note grouping. Many steps can be done together, saving so some time. And: hey I just used DaVinci Resolve for the first time in my life, to cut out some glitches due to the wine… ahaha)
WOO_HOO!!! Bravo Christian! Thank you so much for your time and wonderful video! Onward we go!!
