There is this option in Ableton where you can enter a specific scale and the scale will be shown on the piano roll. is this also possible on cubase?
No, although it has been requested several times.
You can however change the Note Colors to be based on the Chord Track rather than the default of Velocity.
Also you can set the Key Editor so it only shows the pitches in the Scale.
Not at Cubase, but the Note Coloring is set in the upper right of the Editor Window. And to show only Scale pitches is in the Inspector I think (never do this myself).
