Is it possible to 'print' CUE mix inside Cubase pro?

So, my last step throughout my journey (?) in regards to personalizing my analog summing box setup, I finally learnt how to do a/b, putting ‘summing’ return as direct insert on C1 cue mix channel, little bit of latency but it should be ok

But somehow, I now would like to ‘print’ on a new audio track in real time, but I get nothing.

So, my orbit 5057 return is analog 3-4, I created audio track with inputs of analog 3-4, I switch to C1 with external FX (for my case it is bussing to analog summing box), on totalmix, I can listen to the sum, but when I hit record, I get nothing.

I think I need to figure out how to route it right, right?

So, when I bypass, all external FX inserts and come back to ‘mix’ (back from C1), I hear normal in the box stereo out mix, signals moving on mixconsole also. But um, when I go back to CUE mix, I see no signal inside Cubase, but I can listen to it when everything activated (I guess that is why it is CUE mix…?) But additionally I want to record that CUE mix inside.

Is it possible…?

I believe I found a wayaround.

So while I am mixing with analog summing box, I do a/bing, and want to print/render analog summing box sound within the Cubase project.

All I had to do was, simply, create a group track/or audio track, then ‘MOVE’ that return (External FX) insert to that track, creat another audio track then directly record that. (input = the track I just put ‘return’ insert in)

I know this is just a way around but, it works!

I then gotta put that return insert back under the CUE MIX (insert slots panel).

Sorry for my ignorance, CUE mix is solely for monitoring purpose, I did not know fully… haha… but I guess I found a sneaky way !
