Is the issue with Yamaha Motif XS/XF and Cubase 8 fixed?

As the title says.

I know there is another thread where a Steinberg rep said a fix was in the works and should be released late January. Was Cubase 8.0.1 the fix?

To answer my own question, no, the issue is not fixed with Cubase 8.0.5

I checked in my studio last night and adding the Motif VST crashes Cubase and freezes my UR28M interface.

Ed says it is taking a little longer to fix than original thought but that they are still working on it.
