My current interface, MOTU 16A, allows for multiple software to have access to the interface at the same time.
Is this possible with the IXO22?
Right now I use Nuendo, Pro Tools and VB-Audio’s “Voicemeeter” at the same time with zero problems (Windows 11 Pro). I’d like to do the same with this device if I get it.
Man, the silence in this section sure inspires little confidence. No user replies. No Steinberg reps replying. Just crickets.
From what I have gathered, the Steinberg hardware world is a mysterious place. I will visit, but I would never live there. Some folks seem to live happily. Others are doomed. I’m not taking any chances

My experience with Steinberg as a hardware company are rather disappointing (mainly driver support). I don’t plan to ever buy hardware from them again, never mind how tempting it might look.
Pretty annoying. The device looks pretty perfect for someone who just wants some basic functionality without a lot of fuss and at a reasonable price.
I got a different MOTU for now but will probably still shop for something small.
Apparently it won’t be Steinberg. Not that they seem to care.
