Is the Key Editor MIDI (remote) controllable?

Is it possible to remote control the key editor via an external hardware midi controller? I have something like a hardware sequencer in mind. Imagine pre setting 16th notes in the key editor and then select/control (note, length, mute…) single notes via midi controller.

The controller would most likely be a dedicated custom controller. But first i’m intrested if it’s feasible in cubase.

Maybe it already exists as touch controller app or something like that? If yes, how does it work?

Hi,

You can remote control everything, you can control via KeyCommand. So if you find a KeyCommand for the function, you will also find it in the Generic Remote (or other Remote) Device.

Changing the Grid, yes, this is possible. Mute Note, yes. Unmute, yes. Set Start/End position, no.
