Is the NotePerformer Mixer Window Functioning Uniquely for Me? (Submenu Selection Issue)

(Machine-translated text)
Firstly, I apologize for discussing the NotePerformer issue in the Dorico forum. However, I didn’t find a suitable space to discuss this problem collectively, so I’m uploading this message here. (This issue might also possibly be related to Dorico Pro)

I tried to override the newly added instrument in NotePerformer 5, the Erhu, through the NotePerformer mixer window. However, there seems to be a bug where I cannot select the submenu in the instrument selection menu. Instead, it seems to refocus on the upper category menu. I wonder if this is a personal program setting issue, and if this problem occurs for everyone, I think it needs to be addressed.

Here are the steps I have attempted to resolve this issue:

  1. Utilizing the keyboard instead of the mouse. → However, this did not solve the problem. The mixer window only operated with a mouse. (Is there a keyboard method I might have missed?)

  2. Using a mouse macro. → This was not a solution either. Even if I “teleported” the mouse to the submenu location, the problem of refocusing to the upper category menu still occurred.

  3. Utilizing the high DPI setting change options in the properties of Dorico6.exe at the Windows OS level. → This method does not seem related to the issue.

Please refer to the following gif. It is impossible to access each submenu of the instruments under the ‘Strings’ category.

It’s a confirmed NP5 bug, as running in Dorico. We’re fixing it for the first maintenance update.

I came here to report the same issue. In my case, I wanted to assign a solo cello patch to a separate voice in an orchestral cello part. No worries, good to know it’s already on the radar.

Fantastic! I’ll upgrade now. I did try to search for this issue but didn’t find it. (Happily I didn’t get into the whole VST3 and NP thing.)
