Is the transition from Pro 12 Trial to pro 12 full version seamless?

Hey all,
I’m currently downloading the trial version for Cubase Pro 12 which I read will allow you to have access to all the full features etc.
I’m planning to purchase the upgrade anyway next week since I already have cubase 8 Pro. I just needed clarification on a couple things please:

  • Will I have to reinstall v12 Pro once I’ve purchased the full version?

  • If I associate all my plugin paths and my settings etc to the trial version now, will it change/reset when I purchase and install the full version?

No to both. It will only be a license transaction, no software install.

Apropos the above - so basically purchase the license, add it to all the relevant places, and good to go?

If I were to do this 3 months later would it still work.

Also, related to the above (trying to avoid creating a new thread) - what if I wish to try cubase Artist 12 after my Cubase Pro trial expires. Do I uninstall Pro and then download Artist.
