I’ve been asked to rip an bunch of CD’s and re-assemble them. I want to have wavelab lab create the track numbers during the rip, but as soon as wavelab locates the titles the track numbers disappear. I would think there would be a preference to add track numbers, but I don’t find one. It seems that I have to have have wavelab create a montage during the rip, and then re-export the already ripped files from the montage, adding track numbers during the export.
This seems like a silly amount of work requiring creation of a duplicate set of files and I wonder if I’m missing something.
