When I adjust the gauge, it adjusts too quickly
Not that I know of. It has been requested numerous times that Dorico allow us to enter discrete values as an option besides moving the fader, and I very much hope that we will see this one day. EDIT: For the time being, you can drag the upper border of the bottom panel upwards, thus elongating the faders and providing them with more pixels to fine tune the values along the way.
I believe this is already possible: Opt-click the value.
For Windows users, that’s Alt-click. I had no idea you could do this. Thank you.
Ok, I need to check this. But I ask myself: Why not a simple click without a modifier key?
I use Studio One and or Logic as well as Dorico and VE Pro. All except Dorico are double-click to bring up a text input. They know the mixer section needs a bit of love, perhaps they’ll allow double-clicks in the future.
Yeah, something like this would be welcome. In Ableton Live it’s a single click to select the value box which will then accept inputs from the number keys (and of course minus and point if needed), so that’s where I am coming from.
Hooray, it works! Great stuff.
(But still quite puzzling that it took me to stumble upon it accidentally here on the forum. A solution more analogous to the mentioned DAWs would still be more straightforward IMHO.)
