Hey all
On a new machine with a fresh install of Cubase Pro 14. In the MIDI Logical Editor Preset list I noticed I no longer had some of the ones I used from version 13.
Is there a way to get any of them back?
Thanks!

They’re in the Presets folder in your Cubase User Settings Data Folder

Hey Steve thanks for the reply.
Yeah I checked that folder and it has all the current ones for 14, but since this is a new install on a new machine, I didn’t have 13 installed and so none of those presets carried over.
One that I used a lot was under Musical Context / Extract Alto. That’s no longer there. There used to be a huge list under Musical Context but now I only 3…
Is there anyway to get some of those old ones back without reinstalling Cubase Pro 13?
Sorry, I forgot about this: Presets are saved in the Steinberg folder inside the Documents folder
Using Windows Run or from a cmd window
%USERPROFILE%\Documents\Steinberg
Here’s what was in mine
Add Ninths to Chords.xml (1.1 KB)
Extract Alto.xml (943 Bytes)
Select Highest Pitch.xml (975 Bytes)
Select Highest Velocity.xml (943 Bytes)
Thanks Steve, appreciate the help and the .xml files.
Have a good one.
Great. Just out of curiosity: are those four custom presets, or did Steinberg decide to not have them in C14 anymore?
They were in the factory install for C13… that’s all I know
