Is there a way to hide rests in Percussion Kits?

Hello!

I can’t get the Starts voice / Ends voice to work (or the Edit menu → Remove rests) for percussion kits.

This situation is:

• Only one voice
• Time Signature: Open style
• I want rests before and after a note
  
  
  
  
  
  
  This problem is not the same as the one discussed here: Unwanted rests in drumset - #25 by pianoleo - Dorico - Steinberg Forums, where you are writing for more than one instrument and have unwanted rests, that can be taken care of with the settings.

I’m afraid you can’t hide rests in percussion kits at all at the moment, Henrik. The only possible workaround for now is to use one of the “extra” up-stem or down-stem voices, via Edit > Percussion > Change Voice, as these don’t get padded with rests.
