I have a drum track that is a single midi track. It has a lot of notes (kick drum, snare, cymbals, etc.). The snare hits are a series of loud and soft drum hits, with the loud (higher velocity) notes on the 2 and 4 beats, and soft notes in between the loud notes. I would like to be able to select all the loud notes (e.g. with a velocity over 90) and move them out of that track onto another track. (This way, it will be much easier for me to select all loud notes or select all soft notes so that I can even out their volumes). Is there a “search and replace” like in a word processor? I suppose I can manually select the snare hits one by one, but there are hundreds of them.
