Is there a way to sort plugins from the edit window?

There are two ways to sort plugins. By Vendor or by what they do. Is there a way to change the sort in the editing window instead of having to open the preferences? Thanks in advance.

There are times when I want to see plugins by vendor and other times by what they do.

perhaps making a shortcut to open plug-ins window other than that I’m not sure…

No sorry, too complicated to do for the somehow limited benefits. Maybe in the future, but not for next version.

If you work with 1-2 screens it’s possible to have the “Plug-ins” window floating

and open and closing with pressing Tab/button “File”

You are right, but that goes to Plug-ins - General Tab. Now that it was mentioned that it is hard to program such a feature soon, it will be good, if there can at least be separate shortcuts for Plug-ins - General and Organize Tabs.
