To my amazement I had a song where I use pianoteq 4 and I have upgraded to pianoteq 5 since, I saved the channel preset so that it wouldnt loose all the inserrts and eq settings , that usually happened when you would switch instruments, but in cubase 8 I changed the faulty track to the existing pianoteq 5 and boom it was loaded and the channel preset preserved.
On the other hand chanel preservation didn’t happen with groove agent SE. I had to use the old method of saving the channel preset. It was previously called groove agent one and thats why it didn’t load the track anymore from my song in the new c8.
So in which conditions does the recall feature retain the channel strip ?
