Is there any chance for the German version to revert to "flow" instead of "Partie"?

InDesign in German uses “Textfluss”. So why not “Musikfluss”…?

I too bemoan the use of English in other languages when perfectly good native words exist.

Agreed, but I don’t think “Musikfluss” would be a good example of a matching native word.

I’m still trying to find a way to argue for naming flows “hairy spider”… :slight_smile: The best I got is, American English seems to be the hairy spider of languages and I can’t make a case for anything.

So let’s find an accurate compound. How about «Interaktiver Musikfluss»?
But no, "Musikfluss” is already occupied.
Looks like we have to keep studying :sweat_smile:

We’ve had another discussion about this here, and have decided that it would be too big and disruptive a change to move from “Partie” at this point. We do of course always welcome feedback on the choice of terminology we are using in our translated versions, but this would be a big change that we don’t feel we can pursue at this point.
