Hello, i possibly found a bug in Cubase 15.0.5. When I alter and overwrite an existing template, it dissappears from the hub and from the ‘save template’ window. The cpr file is still in the folder, but it is ignored by cubase.
Hi and welcome to the forum,
I have seen similar posts here on the forum already. Can you always replicate this issue, please?
Hi,
do you mean, if this happens all the time? Yes it does. On both of my devices, PC and Laptop. And it makes no difference if this was and ‘old’ template or one made under former Cubase versions or if it’s made just new and 5 minutes ago. If I overwrite a template using the same name, it disappears. Not as a file from the windows folder, but from Cubase.
This is a new behaviour under version 15.
No ‘Test Neu’ template anymore
Now i’ve found the other threads for this issue. Sorry, didn’t saw them first.
A rescan in media bay does not make any difference for me. Template keeps vanished.
Update: Now nearly 3 hours later, i open the hub and there the template is finally listed. How can that be?
I also noticed that, for some reason, user templates don’t show immediately after opening Cubase 15 on Windows. Maybe they need to be validated by MediaBay somehow?
