[ISSUE Mac] N14 Crash When Emptying Pool Trash

I’ve held off for a couple of days on this problem, but it’s happening pretty much every time now, and so… here I am.

Working on an audiobook with many DOP instances (mostly RX Ambience Match) per file, and hundreds of cuts. Files tend to be 40-60 min each after editing.

After bouncing a file to disk:

  1. Open Pool
  2. Remove Unused Media
  3. Empty the Pool trash.
  4. POOF! N14 crashes.

I reopen N14 and try again, and everything goes as expected. Trash empties, files disappear from Finder. Happened every time for this project; my first with N14.

Have sent my logs off to Steinberg a couple of times, and am including the crash report.

Would very much like to get to the bottom of this…

Thanks,

Chewy

Edit: I just went through the same process on the same project with a much shorter file with hundreds fewer edits, and all went as expected… so maybe it has something to do with number of edits?
