Issue with constraint direction modifier

Hello friends, hope everyone is going well.

I’m absolutely in LOVE with Cubase 8.5.20 (recently upgraded from 6.5 which was also amazing).

I noticed that the new version provides a handy snap override by holding down Cmd. The problem is that the default modifier for constraint direction is also Cmd, so this means that you have no way to constraint direction with snap on.

I plan to simply remap the modifier to something else, but this seems like a bit of an oversight. Or perhaps I have missed something?

Hi,

In Preferences > Editing > Tool Modifiers, select Size Object, and set Disable Snapping to different modifier.

So I’ve just changed this modifier this but it doesn’t work for automation points, which still seem to use Cmd as their modifier for not snapping. Any ideas?

Automation editing is my biggest issue with regards to this problem.
