Issue with "Event Volume Curves with Automatic Audio Segment Detection" in Cubase 14.0.20

Hi everyone,

I’m trying to use the new “Event Volume Curves with Automatic Audio Segment Detection” feature in Cubase 14.0.20, but I can’t get it to work. I follow the procedure correctly, but when I try to adjust the volume slider, nothing happens.

I’ve attached a video showing the issue. Am I missing something, or is this a bug?

Any help would be appreciated!

Thanks!

Hi,

Do you still have the Ctrl/Cmd+Shift modifiers down?

It works on my side as expected.

Hi,

No, they are not.

sorry.

If these are the same, it will work like in the Antonio_Escobar’s video.

Hi,

As I said already:

Sorry, I’m using Google Translate so it seems like my translation isn’t coming through very well.

I took a video.

設定:
1.Select Tool > SetCursor Position : Command+Shift
2.Range Tool > Audio Segment Editing : Command+Shift

The cursor just moves.

Hi,

On your screenshot, this is not Command + Shift, this is Option + Shift, on your side.

By default, there is no Modifier set.

Yes. It’s fine with Option+Shift.

But it’s problematic if you set it to Command+Shift.

Watch the video.

Sorry, Martin. I’m not good at English.
Sorry for the confusing way I wrote it.
Forget the screenshots.

I can reproduce the problem with this setup.

Hi all,

Thanks a lot for your suggestions!. I made it work doing this (those are Nuendo 14 captures):

AND

The problem is when you have the Command+Shift used in both Range and Select Tools. This is a bug.

Best,

Antonio.

Hi,

I would say the issue is when you are using the Cmd+Shift modifier for the Range Tool. It has nothing to do with the Onjest Selection tool. The reason is that the two functions are concurring each other. So, this is not a bug.
