Recently upgraded my Halion Sonic 3 (was on elicenser) to Halion 7 Collection. Install and activation went fine. I can open it in Cubase and the Standalone without any issues. It shows as activated in the Activation Manager and My Steinberg online. Note: I also went through the successful process of transferring all licenses from my elicenser
But it will not load into Studio One 7 with a “No valid license detected” error. Any thoughts ? I will reach out to Halion group and Studio One as well.. Thanks in advance.
Try running Studio One as Administrator.
It could be that in Studio1 the DAW (or you) try to load the old Halion Sonic 3 instead of HS7.
Maybe deinstalling HS 3 will force S1 to use the new Halion Sonic 7.
Thanks guys for the responses.
Johnny_Moneto.. Even though, when I installed V7, it appeared that H3 had been removed, I had a suspicion that there may be something left over. After additionally removing all parts of H3, H7 is now working properly in S7.. So you were on the right track with your response.
Thanks Again
