Issue with Vocal Recording and VSTDymanics

Hi,

I open a project ( piano+ vocal). On the vocal track a VSTDynamics is inserted. However, when I record, after playing back the vocal abruptly gets silent here and there! I guess for the places where the voice is soft while recording. Any tips on how to record with this plug-in I do greatly appreciate it.

Should I apply dynamics after recording? or set the Gate, Compressor, and Limiter before recording?

Hi,

Disable Gate of the VST Dynamics. It seems, your recording value fells down bellow the gate threshold, and the signal is muted (what is the job of the Gate in general).
