Issues while editing audio : clips doesn't align to grid

Hello,

When i want to edit some clips (trim, cut etc…) although grid alignement is enabled, from time to time the results won’t align to grid, no matter what i do. See an exemple below :

If you look carefuly, the clips goes slightly before or beyond the grid.
I can’t find a solution, any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Looks quite similar to this problem discussed on the Cubase Reddit forum - to do with Zero-crossing being enabled

And here - in the Cubase Manual

Hi,
does this happen if you move the track to another location?
One possible explanation are snap points. If you open the audio track in the editor you will see a tiny box with an “S” on the middle line. If you have accidently moved it from the start a little bit to the right the event will snap to the grid at this position.

Thanks all for your help, it was indeed because of " Zero-crossing " being enabled.
