I finally got Cubase 12 up and running after it went all wonky, however, while the song I created is visually there, the actual song track is gone and whats visual is a colored track but no music. HELP!!!

Can you upload a screenshot of your project which includes the track with no sound, please?
It’s easier to find the culprit with visuals. You might have to read a few posts in the forum and stick around for a couple of minutes until you are promoted to basic user and able to upload screenshots.
Which OS are you on?
What kind of track is your song track? (Audio/MIDI)
Do you have an audiointerface? Are Inputs/Outputs assigned? Is the correct ASIO driver installed?
Cubase version?
