It seems that my CC121 needs a new driver too!

Hello everyone, my CC121has stopped working: The indicator light is flashing even when Cubase Artist 14 is running.

I downloaded the driver from the forum “My CC121 needs a new driver” but this did not solve my problem.

Does anyone have any ideas? I m soooo sad, I really enjoy to work with my CC121 !

I m on Windows 11 “famille” version 25H2
Cubase Artis14 version 14.0.20

Best regards,
Eric B

  • Check your mains adapter, the CC121 does not fully operate when powered from a USB port.

From the manual: https://download.steinberg.net/downloads_hardware/CC121/CC121_documentation/CC121_OperationManual_en.pdf

or in French

  • This lamp flashes to indicate that the CC121 is
    bus-powered from the connected computer.

Hi Steve, thank you for your answer :+1:
My CC121 is plugged on a main adapter, and I had no problems until the last update of my computer thrue Windows update.

I downloaded the last version of the drivers and here is a view of the folder on my hard drive.
At the end of the day, it’s still not ok and I cant Use my CC121 with Cubase :sad_but_relieved_face:

Hello, this is an update of my previous post :
I tryed again to install the USB-MIDI Driver V3.1.5 for Windows 10/11 (64-bit) , and it was OK after the second time.

I m so happy , I realize that my CC121 is very practical, more ergonomic than working with a mouse   !
