I have Cubase Pro 15. I tried using VST Connect SE 5 with a friend and cannot get it to work. Has anyone else been able to get VST Connect SE 5 to work?

PS to answer your question, even though I’m using “Pro”, yes, it does work. I’ve been on the receiving end using Performer with a friend using SE on the other end, and it functioned well.

Your request is rather generic. Of course other users have succeeded many times.
For a start, have Performer start the Performer application, then use “Create VST Connect” in the Cubase menu and click “ID”. Then transfer theat code (mail, phone…) to the performer, have her type it in an click connect. Record on the track that was already provided by “Create VST Connect”, for more tracks use “Create VST Connect Track”.
My request was generic because VST Connect SE didn’t seem to actually connect. Apparently this was due to user error as I was able to connect to another Cubase 15/VST Connect 5 SE user. Now to learn how to use it…
