iTunes as an input channel in Cubasis AI 8

Hi,

Is it possible to have iTunes as a recordable input track in Cubasis AI 8? So, say I have two mics as input tracks, recording as expected, and now I want to add another track that picks up iTunes music as a feed (i.e. it picks up whatever is playing in iTunes on my laptop and records that in the added track)?

If not, can an iPad be connected to a MIDI-in port on my interface, for Cubasis to pick up whatever is playing in iTunes on my iPad?

Depends on your soundcard, usually it needs to have a loopback feature

A MIDI port can pick up MIDI data, but not audio data
