Greetings,
I’m a Finale-to-Dorico transition user and am just learning the power of Dorico. 99% of what I do is copy jazz lead sheets in various stages of legibility and from a variety of sources into Dorico. I ran into at least one question last night while copying a chart. I managed to input the chords and selected the appropriate chording style (e.g. Boston) and got my fonts looking the way I wanted. However, I’m a fan of the delta, circle, and slashed-circle notation for chords when it comes to jazz charts. What I noticed is that while I can set most of the chord symbols to be in a usual jazz font, the delta (triangle), circle, and slashed circle symbols seem to remain in a “plain” (not-jazz) font, and I would like to change that. Is there a way to force those symbols to be in a jazz font? I’m sure former Finale users who did the same know what I’m talking about. Thanks!
Mike
