*.syx import to FM Classics has nothing to do with ābetter file-managementā.
It would be enough to add a āFM Classicsā folder to the root Cubasis folder and put all the relevant *.syx files there (In sub-folders per synth, DX7, TX81Z, DX100 etc) and the plug-in would scan the folder when it loads.
Sampler Trackās āImportā would be a simple dragānādrop operation from the Media Bay, Files.app pop-over or drag an existing midi or audio-event to the track and boom, done.
Thereās no need to over-complicate things

Lets add MARKERS to this list. We need MARKERS to mark events in compositionsā¦. Without markers Cubasis breaks workflows every time to go search and find a specific event in the timeline, especially when reopening a older projectā¦ omg! It takes me so much time to understand whats going on in the project and re aquatint myself with an earlier mix etc.

Both platforms: VariAudio, Marker tracks, myriad others as listed above.
Question for those who want MIDI remote control, etc. : Cubasis is meant to be mainly a remote app as I understand it, would you agree? If so, I donāt understand why you want a feature pertaining to synths and such - are you referring to using Cubasis to play live? Please help me understand that - thanks!

You mean midi learn? Its to map auv3 parameters to the midi controller so you can record automation with that instead of your touchscreen

Sorry, I use it when Iām away from my Cubase computer, thatās what meant remote, wrong terminology.
Thatās where my synth is, in my (very small, unprofessional) home studio.

The main things missing are:
1-Port the drum synth and Step Editor over from Cubase.
2-Create a way to step enter notes in non-realtime.
