Just installed 14.0.20: release note?

The modifier key (CTRL+SHIFT on Windows, Command+Option on macOS) for modify event(s) volume is finally a perfect move for who regret the old node volume !
No need to have the range tool selection active for this !

I see there is an “intelligent” determination of the audio (or MIDI I suppose as well) boundaries within which we might want to change the volume.

I wonder - if we don’t agree with the boundaries chosen by Cubase, is there a way to drag/modify them, as one can with the Range tool, for example?

if you are not agree with the boundaries chosen by Cubase, just use de Range Tool like before (14.0.10)

But, as of 14.0.20, does the Range Tool have return of the old square at the top center to grab and adjust with?

Yes, you can still use the Range Tool and adjust the levels accordingly with the symbol at the top of the selection.
You can personalize the modifiers that open the new Range Auto Selection function but you can not adjust the sensivity of the auto selection itself.

Worst update, fisrt i wasnt able to add Halion track ???
i ve reload Halion and cubase 14 after that i cant add any track ???

Hi and welcome to the forum!
I have never heard of such a behaviour after this update. Are you sure you have not accidently downloaded Halion 7 which requires a license on its own? Halion 7 SE is free.
If not, please send a screenshot and provide more detailed infos. This way we might help you to sort it out.

I have cubase 14 pro, i can use halion sonic 7 in a desktop app o my pc, i can use halion sonic 7 in cubase 13, but in my plugin manager cuvase 14 i even cant see halion sonic ???

Are you aware that the Plugin Manager shows VSTs on the left side and VSTis (VST instruments) in the second row?

I can see vst intrument on second row, i can see retrologue padshop groove agent se but not halion sonic. ?? New problem i cant add new track on my project ??? i ve reinstall cubase pro 14 and halion sonic 7 same problems ???

Finally. i resolved my problem. i ve open a project, then goes to my manager plug in, make a rescan then halion sonic appear forever and i can also add new track !!!
