Hi, I’ve been working with Cubase 6 without a hitch and finally decided to upgrade to 7.5.1 but I can’t even get it to open. It keeps crashing. Disk repaired the computer, restarted but no change. Any ideas?
MacPro3,1, Quad-Core Intel Xeon, 2.8 GHz, 20 GB RAM.
The complete crash report is attached here. Any help/direction would be much, much appreciated. Thank you!
Try renaming your “c:\program files\vstplugins” and the 32 bit one “C:\Program Files (x86)\VstPlugins”, this is ofcource the example for windows and see if cubase starts, also worth to trash preferences, search for this, this is describes frequently on this forum.
^ Thanks. Well, I got it to open by deleting older versions of vst plug-ins one by one until it worked. Good to go. Diving into learning this program. the colors are a bit overwhelming so that’s the first order of the day…
I believe there is a Preferences option to make softer all at once.
