HI everyone, I just did the stupidest mistake and upgraded will on a project ! ! ! As I was learning to navigate in the new version, I was activating plugs on and off, and mis-clicked on something, and now can not activate or see the plugs at all. I see them in the effects pane, but when I click on them, nothing happens anymore. Help would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance
Please show a picture of the part of WaveLab where you see this effect pane.
First off thanks for the reply PG ( I realize how lucky to have you in person). Wavelab is installed on a separate computer, but I can tell you that the effects pane is in the master section (at the top). I tried a print screen and it didn’t work
PG, when I clicked on that ICON , the prompt says “reset the master section”, which I hesitated to do, not wanting to loose my “mastering plug in chain”, yet I still clicked it, and now all plugs are gone. (soupir) So rebuilding my plug in chain would resolve my issue?
You tell us.
Ok , so I’m back to point A but, before I take my next action, once I open a plug, they all open in a new window with all of them next to each other. If I close that widow, I can’t open them again. I can fold that window but that isn’t a good work around. Sorry to be such a newb. BTW been a Wavelab user since WL6 ! ! !
In version 6 and 7 , I could open and close plugs from the Master section plug in pane at will
Normally, just clicking on any slot that hosts a plugin, reopens that plugin. But I guess you tried that!
And be aware of the two window mode: Chain Window On/off
Tks for the pointer, trying that shortly
Tried a bunch of things, I can only access the plugs control in the “plug(s) in window”.
Not by clicking on them in the master section
And , to add to my misery, although I can control all mu UAD plugs, I can’t control my WAVEs plugs
Je vais me coucher ! Bon déjeuner. Je me réssaie dans quelques heures
Sorry for taking so long to get back to this, as I was away.
After a 3rd reboot “everything” sorted itself out !!!
-access to plugs by simple click ( PG1’s cues were the the solutions)
-Wave plugs
Wanted to thank all that responded and helped
Greatly appreciated
