Keep Monitor on when selecting between tracks

Is there a way to “lock” monitor ON for a track so that when you select a different track it doesn’t switch off?

Of course…in preferences.

VST/Auto Monitoring
Editing/Project & MixConsole/Enable Record on Selected track
