Keeping the Project Title the same size on page 2 and 3

@bophead Some things I guess you struggle with.

If you don’t want the flow heading (1. Flow 1) go to layout options Ctrl Shift L and set “show flow headers” to “never”.

When I read your question carefully and look at your dorico file, I have the inpression that you don’t realize that you have 2 page templates for scores and 2 page templates for parts. First and default. So the first page looks different than the following pages. So you are dealing with 4 page templates.

  1. First score
  2. default score (following pages)
  3. First part
  4. default part (following pages)

All that 4 page templates have also an left and a right page. So when you make an edit to the left page and copy that to the right page the pagenumbers will always be left. But that is only the text boxes the alingnent is not copied so you have to set the alignement in that box also to left because otherwise it gets messy.

In the score template you made the edits that are normaly on the first page of a score in the default page template. I understand why. This is the first template that is listed and often you have to scroll to see the first page template. It is alphbetical order, so a little bit confusing.

In the token projectcomposer you have an spelling mistake so for that is is not taken the correct info. Most easy is ti rightclick in the text box and bring in your token by chose the info you want.

Some text boxes are just to narrow you have to make them bigger or set the font to a smaller size.

I hope this is helpfull.

I corrected the composer token in the Default page, copied layout L>R, applied and closed. In the page info section, I typed in the artist and publisher, which I have tokens for. They do not show on the first page. On page 3 on, the composer is justified differently than on the front page. It is getting closer, but now I have the artist and publisher on all the pages and I only want them on the first. Thank you for you help. I am not grasping the concept here.

The “First” page template affects only the first page. The “Default” page template affects all following pages.

Maybe it is wisdom to go to another view spreads horizontally that makes it more clear maybe. Right from the hand.

This is a great solo by the way. I love Turrentine.

Thank you, that clarified it perfectly. First page for the first page and default for the rest. I will work on margins down the road. I am sure it will get easier the more I work on it.

Yes, and it can be confusing that the page layouts editor shows Left and Right. But normal publishing practice is for page 1 to be a Right, not a Left!
