I want to find a key command that selects all tracks, so I can set all tracks to “Freeze” or “Disable” before saving, which can reduce load time later.
Cmd+A is only selecting the audio or midi sections and not the track.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

If you are on Cubase Pro, you can use Project Logical Editor for this (I’m not aware of a dedicated command, though it may exists):
In the above PLE I’ve also set as a post-process command the freeze/unfreeze.
By the way, we can always click on the very first track to select it, and then by holding shift, click on the last track to select all of them.
Why do you want to toggle freeze on all tracks in this instance?
Yes that’s the way, then you can configure that Macro and assign to a KC
I created a new preset in the Project Logical Editor and it works fine in the Setup screen. But when I switch to the Presets menu option or even a custom Key Command, the preset does not work.
Is this a bug in Cubase 14? or have I done something wrong…
m.c. Thank you for that. I eventually was able to create the “macro” I wanted. Using the Project Logical Editor and then incorporating that into a Macro in the Key Command editor. Works perfectly.
Thank you for your help.
zooterman, I’m sure I want to freeze all tracks. It was basically an exercise in learning how the Project Logical Editor and Macro’s work. I only just started using Cubase, so I’m exploring features.
Ok just be careful with the bulk freeze function, that can take a long time to process if you have many processed tracks.
