Key Commands and Shift key not working sometimes

This is on Win10, using Cubase 9.5.10

  • When you try to keybind Shift to NumPad keys, it’s not possible - no matter if you use shift alone or in any combination with other modifiers like Shift+Ctrl etc…Shift will simply not be visible in “Type in Key” box
  • Assinging Shift+Left or Shift+Right to Nudge End Left/Right doesn’t work. In Key Commands window everything appears normal, but when you try to use the shortcut in the KeyEditor on notes - it doesn’t work.

Was there ever a solution found to this? I have the same issue and would really like to find out how it can be made to work
