Key commands for unloading VST instruments and reloading track presets

Hi,

At the moment I’m using this trick to manage RAM and my project file size quite effectively: Cubase 9: A little trick to reduce file size (and saving times) of big disabled track templates | VI-CONTROL

In the Inspector in the top left group box I’m:

  • Unloading a VST by clicking the ‘Instrument’ box and setting it to ‘No VST Instrument’
  • Loading a VST by clicking the ‘reload track preset’ button.

Pointing and clicking is time consuming so please can key commands be added to:

  1. set ‘No VST Instrument’ (default value) in the ‘Instrument’ box
  2. reload track presets?

I use track presets too, this would be time saver

+1 Still not here. Can’t believe it’s such a prevelant tool and there’s no way to set a key command. Crazy.
