On Cubase 14 I created some key commands to improve my workflow for example:
Ctrl+Alt+M : create 5 miditracks with color code - On Cubase 15 Pro The file were updated but aren’t recognized by the program. I put the the relative Key commands xml in the main file and the systen anyways don’t recognize it.
After that I try to create another Key commands formed with 3 keys for example Ctrl +f+o and it’s impossible to create a key command with 3 keys (a+b+c)
On Cubase 14 Pro I can do it.
What am I dong wrong

Hi,
you can combine Alt, Shift & Ctrl but you can not combine any of the other keys like ‘k’+‘l’, mumbers, etc.
I would suggest to create a Profile in Cubase 14 and open it in Cubase 15. This way, you have not only all key commands present but also a lot of your customizations.

It’s my fault: reading some info online I discover what you are explaining to me about Ctrl, Ant and Shift.All the combinations I did on C 14 were made with Ctrl + Alt.
For that I didn’t discover that before
The past year I made my profile, I save it outside C and choose it again when I update to 15 and choose it on Preferences. All the Profile is functioning , except key commands that I made with 3 combinations.
Bug ??

can you provide some examples, please? Which key commands did not migrate to C15 (exact key combination and purpose).
I had no problems whatsoever migrating literally hundreds of key commands including those with three keys to C15.
There are some important things about Profiles that the manual left out. Please, check if the Profile saved your commands in the first place.How To Profiles.

About Profile as I said on C 14 I build my profile (I read what is saved on the manual)
an I made a backup of it outside of C:
When I update to C15 the profile was transfered to the new version.Later I discover that thing about Key command.Go to preference search for my profile saved outside C: choose them and nothing changes.
One combination I use is (in in my first post) Ctrl+Alt+ M : with this command I create 5 MIDI channels with color.Another command Ctrl+Alt+ A: with this command I create 5 Audio channels with color. If you want I can send to you how the command is made.
May be at some point I can understand what is wrong… a lot of times I discover that was me, not de DAW that was wrong , ha.

do all of your key commands that got lost have something to do with colour coding? They changed colour coding in C15 - maybe this is the reason? Can you check if there are any other key commands missing?
HI Reco: I did’nt lose nothing about colours.I remade the lost key commands (4) ckek it and all is OK. My profile is updated . By the way I start to use Instrument track presets to build orchestral mock ups fast and it’s more effective than key commands.
