I’m playing a Kawai NV10s keyboard with MIDI Send Program Change OFF. But for some reason, the keyboard is also playing Dorico violin1. Why is that, and how can I stop it?
(Also, in the mixer, how can I reset panning back to C? The closest I get is either L0 or R0.)
In the Dorico preferences under Edit > Preferences go to the Play tab and scroll down. Is there the Enable MIDI Thru option set with you?
And in regards to the panning, yes, it is a bit difficult, but possible.
I click and hold down the mouse button and then adjust the value by dragging. It needs some very fine movements, but I’m able to to move it back to the “C” position.
Cmd-click on the panoramics puts it directly on C.
