Keyboard plays in older C 8.5, C9.5 but not Cubase v10x

Aha, glad you have it sorted. In-Laws are horrible practical jokers sometimes eh?

It didn’t work in Cubase 10 as you didn’t have port 4 selected for ‘all’ MIDI, but of course you know that now.

Yep! That was how I discovered the error cable chart. I actually selected Mackie connector 4, to see if Mackie was sending MIDI Control data from an unused connection. That would cause MIDI Handshake and Read errors. It would mean my Mackie was broken! :frowning:

To my surprise, my Halionsonic sounded as I accidentally touched a key!!! I felt like Alexander Grahambell discovering the Telephone… or just a MIDI boob who got lucky!

Thanks again my friend.

Thanks Martin, I really do appreciate your time & help on this. Apologies, I didn’t grasp your 1st tip, idea. To many beers on my brain maybe :exclamation:  Thanks again my friend.
