KEYBOARD SHORT CUT for saving

I want to save a new version without typing in the info
I know there is a keyboard shortcut in which a file name like this “song 1-01” becomes “song 1-02”
can anyone help out

Try CTRL+ALT+S (on Windows)

thanks that wasnt the solution but because of your suggestion accidently landed on the shortcut on mac its ALT-CMD-S

Windows Alt is always going to be Macs CMD as far as shortcuts in Cubase are concerned.

You can also open key commands and search for any function to see which key combo is assigned.
