In steinberg.help it reads that keyboard shortcuts are supposedly displayed on the tooltips and that tooltips with an exclamation mark at the end have not yet been assigned a key.
This is not the case for me (Cubase 13 pro).
Is there a setting for this? I couldn’t find anything in the program settings.
I think it’s a bit messed up. For example, for the toolbar tools shortcuts are displayed as the defaults even if you change them, and some commands have no keystroke listed in the tooltip
Hi guys,
thanks all three of you for your answers. Box was ticked in my preferences (obviously by default) and my Editing tools settings are exactly like in dathho’s C13 screenshot.
So bottom line: this imho would be a great feature, if it worked consistently for both the pre-assigned and the self-assigned shortcuts.
Unfortunately, as @steve wrote, obviously it does not for either of them.
If it worked in Cubase 14, this alone would be a reason for me to upgrade.
To anyone who is on Cubase 14: I assume it does not work there consistently either, does it ?
