Is anybody ever notice that the notes do not correspond to their frequency numbers in the chart.?.I have this strange issue which am not even sure if its an issue. when I press C2 (in midi editor) Cubase tells me am pressing C2 but if I load a tuner in the track it reads as if am pressing C3. I have load different tuners from other developers and they all tell me the same. my Cubase is one octave higher no matter what key I press. I wonder if anyone has ever encounter such or if this is not a problem but normal behavior. This is not related to the fact that english chart places C3 as middle C and Germans seem to place it at C4. either way the DAW is one octave higher. any body knows why ?.
