With my laptop (MS Surface Studio), I use a McCally Bluetooth keypad. It works great except that I can’t get the minus sign to work for flats.
My question, today, however, is about the keyboard with my rack mount studio PC. The plus and minus keys do not work for sharps or flats. Is there a trick or configuration I am missing?
(I just ordered a wireless keypad so I can place it on the left while I use the mouse with my right hand. I hope I don’t have the same problem.)
Thanks.
I’m pretty sure the minus, plus and enter keys shown in the image send different ascii codes to the computer. Look in Program Settings, Keyboard shortcuts for the sharp/flat key commands and add these keys to them.

Technically, same ASCII but a different scan code. In the Key Commands, the numpad - is “Num+ -” (no space because without space, the forum displays ±) and numpad + is “Num++”.
The wireless keypad may be sending the same scan codes as the regular number keys, which I would find odd. Maybe there’s a setting to choose.
